Change Management
Virtually every assignment that Strategize undertakes could fit under
the generic heading of 'Change Management'. Our Clients, like ourselves,
must continually adapt to the rapid economic, technological, political
and social change that is sweeping the world.
Transformational Change
When Clients seek radical transformational change they look to us for
assistance to prepare and coach leaders, teams and individuals to create
that change. Our emphasis on people performance, together with capabilities
in applied research and performance psychology offers a unique base
from which to work in partnership with Clients.
For example, a current project for a large and successful private
sector organisation includes the following activities:
- Facilitating the leadership / change team
- Designing measures of climate and customer perceptions to
track change
- Facilitating 'breaking the paradigm' programs for key teams
- Working one-on-one with the key leaders
- Collaborating on re-designing the performance management system
- De-briefing the implementation of key initiatives

Innovation-driven Change
One of the most cost-effective business development strategies is innovation.
It costs less than major capital investment and makes better use of
existing assets.
We have developed a Team Process that trains teams in problem solving
and creative thinking techniques and then through a project management
approach, coaches them to implement their ideas and see them through
to a measured business result.
A recent example of this approach is our work with a Process Development
Team within a Manufacturing organisation. This team is delivering innovations
that will be measured in millions of dollars and is a critical element
of the corporate strategy. Our activities with that team have included:
- Training in an approach called 'Throwing away the Square'
- Team building activities including a residential program
- De-briefing of performance
- Facilitating the development of strategy and tactics
- Psychological appraisal of team members
